In honour of Republic Day, Fighter was released in theatres on January 25. It made its debut in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, among other Indian languages, and it grossed a sizable sum at the box office.

But Telugu fans are in for a letdown because Netflix, a well-known OTT platform, paid a premium to get the digital streaming rights to Fighter.
